DIRECTIONS TO LAKE SIDE COTTAGE

FROM SYRACUSE (about 2 hours)
Take I-81 to exit 48, route 342 E to route 11 N to Gouverneur. Right after bridge in Gouverneur, there is a traffic light; at light turn right onto route 58. After about 15 minutes you will see a sign "Edwards 1". Turn left there and go through small town of Edwards.

FROM EDWARDS (about 5 minutes)
At end of town, opposite Post Office, turn left onto Trout Lake Road. After 2 miles you will see a sign "Trout Lake", and the road will come right up along lake and a small marina. At this point, take 2nd driveway (about 1/8 mile past marina). You will see a post with circular signs of all the cottages on this road. Lake Side Cottage is the 3rd house on that road (brown with bright red roof and trim).

FROM ALBANY (about 3 ½ hours)
Take I-87 (Northway) to exit 23 (Warrensburg), then route 28 to Blue Mountain Lake, route 30 to Tupper Lake, route 3 W to Fine, route 58 to Edwards. Follow directions above from Edwards.

FROM CANTON (about 23 minutes)
Take route 11 S for about 9 miles until you see Hermon De Kalb School on right; half mile past school, you will see a sign for Trout Lake; turn left stay on that road for about 6 miles (after 3 miles you will see a sign "Trout Lake" directing you to go straight through a stop sign at four corners); 3 miles after that stop sign, you will see another sign "Trout Lake, Edwards", directing you to turn left. After another 3 miles you will see the lake on your left and the sign "Trout Lake" on your right. About 2 mile after the sign, there is a green garage on left. (That is the driveway for Long View) Take the next left (about 1/8 mile past the green garage and 1/8 mile before the lake comes up to the road). Lake Side is the 3rd cottage on this road (brown with bright red trim).
